Lebanon's Prime Minister Nawaf Salam described the Israeli airstrike on the Al-Musaylih-Zahrani road in the south as a violation and instructed to file an urgent complaint with the United Nations Security Council.
Lebanon is reported to be filing an "urgent complaint" with the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) due to the recent Israeli attack targeting a heavy machinery and equipment sales point on the El-Musaylih–Zahrani road in the south of the country.
According to a report by Lebanon's official agency NNA, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam instructed Foreign Minister Yusuf Reggi to file an urgent complaint with the Security Council regarding the Israeli attack targeting civilian and commercial facilities in Musaylih.
THEY WILL COMPLAIN ABOUT ISRAEL
During the meeting, Salam emphasized that the Israeli attack was a clear violation of "UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and the ceasefire arrangements issued in November."
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Israeli army conducted airstrikes yesterday on a bulldozer and excavator showroom located on the Musaylih–Zahrani road in southern Lebanon.
It was reported that the attacking aircraft fired numerous missiles, and the explosions turned the area into "a fireball reminiscent of an earthquake." It was also reported that one civilian was killed and seven civilians were seriously injured in the airstrikes.
More than 300 vehicles, including bulldozers and excavators, were damaged, along with Lebanon's largest and most comprehensive sales facilities, buildings, and iron tents, as well as many parked vehicles in the area, with damages estimated to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
