The Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced that they have deposited 5.6 billion lira in monthly payments for the elderly and disabled into accounts for January.

The Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced that they have deposited 5.6 billion lira in monthly pensions for the elderly and disabled for the month of January.

In her written statement, Göktaş stated that they are developing inclusive and regular social assistance programs for the disabled and the elderly.

Expressing that they are by their side in every area, from education to health, and from the economy to social life, to ensure the full and effective participation of the disabled and elderly in social life, as well as their ability to live independently, Göktaş noted:

"In this regard, we have deposited a total of 5.6 billion lira in monthly pensions for the elderly and disabled, consisting of 3.1 billion lira for elderly pensions and 2.5 billion lira for disabled pensions. I wish that the payments will be beneficial for all our citizens."
