8-year-old Narin is being searched everywhere: We are not complaining, as long as they return our daughter to us.

The search for Narin Güran (8), who went missing two days ago after leaving the Quran course she attended in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district in Diyarbakır, continues.

The incident occurred on August 21st in the afternoon in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district. Narin Güran, who went to the Quran course, did not return home after the course, so her family conducted a search on their own. When no results were obtained from the search conducted with the villagers, a report was made to the 112 Emergency Call Center at around 21:00. Upon the report, gendarmerie, AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority), health teams, and search dogs were dispatched to the area. The Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) Team, AFAD, Metropolitan Municipality Underwater Search teams, and 200 gendarmerie personnel are involved in the search, with aerial support provided by a helicopter belonging to the gendarmerie. In addition, approximately 150 vehicles passing by during the hours when Narin went missing were interrogated.

A SLIPPER FOUND BY THE ROADSIDE

During the search operations, a child's slipper was found by the roadside last night. The slipper, which is about 3 kilometers away from the Güran family's house, was shown to Narin's parents. The couple stated that the slipper belonged to their daughter. The slipper was taken to the laboratory by the gendarmerie for examination.

While the search for Narin continues on the second day, JAK teams are continuing their work in the irrigation canal where the water level has been lowered. AFAD and volunteer teams are also searching for Narin in the canal and fields. Vehicles entering and leaving the neighborhood are also being searched.

"WE ARE NOT COMPLAINING, AS LONG AS THEY DELIVER OUR DAUGHTER TO US"

Arif Güran, who said that his daughter Narin would not go anywhere without their knowledge, said the following:

"Since the first day and until now, AFAD, gendarmerie, and police have been with us. Even the gendarmerie teams from other districts not related to this region are involved in the matter. May Allah be pleased with all of them. So far, we haven't found any clues. Only a slipper was found last night. It's the same slipper, but we cannot accuse people without evidence. Only the state can reveal this. We have already given the state her hair and clothes that were at home. If there is any suspicion, the state will do what is necessary. May Allah be pleased with the support the state has provided us. Our daughter was a very smart girl, she wouldn't go anywhere, into an irrigation canal or another house, without informing us. It's as if the ground opened up and swallowed her. Whoever sees or hears anything, no matter who they are, please inform us for the sake of Allah. Whether to us, the police, or the gendarmerie. If they have her and regret it, we are not filing a complaint. We haven't seen them and they haven't seen us. As long as they deliver our daughter to us."
