A feud between two young people in Edirne turned into an armed attack in a children's park. In the incident, 17-year-old H.G. was injured, while his peer T.A., who carried out the attack, was taken into custody.

The incident occurred yesterday afternoon in the children's park at the Old TOKI Housing in the Kurtuluş neighborhood. According to allegations, T.A. went to the scene with a shotgun after learning that H.G., with whom he had a feud, was in the park.

PANIC MOMENTS IN THE PARK

T.A. opened fire with the shotgun at H.G., whom he encountered in the park. While H.G. tried to escape, the children nearby panicked and ran in all directions upon hearing the gunshots. Those moments were captured by security cameras.

ATTACKER IN CUSTODY

During the incident, police teams at the Family Health Center in the area intervened and apprehended T.A. along with the shotgun he used in the incident. Injured H.G. was taken to Trakya University Medical Faculty Hospital for treatment. Authorities reported that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
