The TFF 3rd League team Nazillispor, which has a history of 41 years, has started to vacate its facilities due to unpaid rents to the Nazilli Municipality. The Nazillispor team will be staying in a 150-person student dormitory that has been vacated by the KYK and transferred to the Sultanhisar Municipality.

Nazillispor, one of Aydın's long-established clubs with a history of 41 years, was forced to relocate from the district after being removed from its facilities due to the stadium's vulnerability to earthquakes.

NAZİLLISPOR IS VACATING ITS FACILITIES

Previously known as Nazilli Belediyespor, the club, which transitioned to a corporate structure last year, has vacated the Haluk Alıcık Facilities it used. The club, which was requested to vacate by the owner Nazilli Municipality due to unpaid rents, was left in a difficult situation once the eviction decision was finalized. Nazillispor, which had to vacate the facility built by the municipality 8 years ago and opened in 2017, consisting of a 4-story accommodation building, a 18,000 square meter grass area, a fitness room, a sauna, a steam room, a dining hall, a meeting room, a game room, and a cinema, received support from neighboring districts.

While Nazillispor, the only club representing the Nazilli district in the professional league, faces being left on the streets, the neighboring districts of Sultanhisar and Yenipazar have stepped in to support the team instead of its own district. As the 15-day period given for the eviction has expired, Nazillispor has started to vacate its facilities.

THEY WILL STAY IN A STUDENT DORMITORY

Nazillispor will stay in a 150-person student dormitory that was vacated by KYK and transferred to Sultanhisar Municipality. Nazillispor will conduct its training in the Atça neighborhood of Sultanhisar and will play its home matches in the Pamukören Stadium located in the rural area of Kuyucak district. Nazillispor Club President Şahin Kaya expressed his reaction to the situation, while Sultanhisar Mayor Osman Yıldırımkaya, Yenipazar Mayor Malik Ercan, AK Party MPs Mustafa Savaş, Seda Sarıbaş, and Youth and Sports Provincial Director Serhat Yığmatepe were thanked for their support to the team.

THE ÖZKAN KILIÇ ERA

Nazillispor, which has been placed in the relegation zone of the amateur league without a win in the 3rd League 4th Group this season and has undergone constant changes in its technical staff, has entered the Özkan Kılıç era. After Yüksel Yeşilova, who returned to the position for the second time during the season, left after just one match, Özkan Kılıç was appointed as the head coach. Nazillispor, which has only collected 2 points in the first 11 weeks of the season, is currently at the bottom of the group with 9 losses and 2 draws.
