During an inspection at a cold storage facility in Sakarya, approximately 32 tons of chicken meat past its expiration date were seized. The chicken was taken to a biogas facility in Bolu for disposal, and fines were imposed on the warehouse managers.

32 TONS OF CHICKEN SEIZED

Teams from the Sakarya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry conducted an inspection at a cold storage facility operating in the city. During the checks, approximately 32 tons of chicken meat past its expiration date was detected. 

DESTROYED

Chicken meat that was allegedly ready to be released into the market was confiscated. After the necessary legal procedures were completed, tons of chicken meat were taken to a biogas facility in Bolu under the supervision of the authorities and destroyed. It was learned that the responsible parties of the storage facility were fined by the Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, and the facility was sealed.
