GERASIMOV: STAYED IN THE AIR FOR 15 HOURS

Russia's Chief of General Staff Gerasimov recalled that exercises related to the use of strategic nuclear weapons and tests of some weapons were conducted during the week, stating that the exercise achieved its purpose.

Noting that the Burevestnik missile was tested on October 21, Gerasimov said the following about the test: "The difference from other tests is that the missile flew for hours. During this time, this missile covered a distance of 14,000 kilometers. However, this is not the limit. It has a nuclear-powered launch system. The technical characteristics of the Burevestnik allow guaranteed reach to highly protected targets from any distance. Additionally, the missile demonstrated its high capabilities to evade missile defense and air defense systems by performing all planned vertical and horizontal maneuvers during flight. The missile stayed in the air for 15 hours. However, this is not the limit."
