"Terror-Free Turkey" process will see an important meeting this week. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will receive the DEM Party's delegation from İmralı. The critical meeting, originally planned for Tuesday, October 28, has been rescheduled.
POSTPONED TO THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30
The meeting between President Erdoğan and the DEM Party delegation has been postponed to Thursday, October 30. Erdoğan and the DEM delegation will meet for the third time at the Presidential Complex. President Erdoğan will receive Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Pervin Buldan and DEM Party Member of Parliament Mithat Sancar at the Presidential Complex.
FIRST CONTACT AFTER 13 YEARS
The delegation's first meeting with Erdoğan was the first contact after 13 years. On April 10, the delegation, consisting of Van MP Pervin Buldan and the late Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly and Istanbul MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder, met with Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex in Beştepe.
SECOND MEETING
The second meeting took place on July 7 at the Presidential Complex. The delegation included Buldan and Sancar, while AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala and MIT President İbrahim Kalın also attended the meeting.
PKK ANNOUNCED IT HAS COMPLETELY WITHDRAWN FROM TURKEY
On July 11, the terrorist organization PKK, which burned its weapons in Northern Iraq, held a press conference with 25 terrorists, announcing that it has completely withdrawn from Turkey.
