In the organization's statement, which noted that significant steps have been taken in the past 8 months, the following expressions were included: "These historical steps taken by the Kurdish side under the leadership of Abdullah Öcalan and the PKK have deeply affected the political and social environment of Turkey, creating a new spirit and will towards peace and democratization.
