A couple having sexual intercourse in the morgue's cooling room was filmed, leading to the arrest of three employees. There was a dead body in the room at the time of the incident. The incident, which occurred about a month ago, gained public attention and sparked outrage after the footage was spread on social media. The man in the video was identified as Sher Singh, a morgue cleaner, and was arrested. Parvendra, who filmed the video, and Bhanu, another employee present during the incident, were also detained. Noida Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Sunil Sharma expressed his concerns about the situation and emphasized the need for urgent measures. Increasing the number of security guards and installing security cameras are being planned. Following the incident, the CMO office filed an official complaint at the police station. The arrests were made under Section 296 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 67 and 67A of the Information Technology Act. Sher Singh was fired from his job, and a three-member investigation committee was formed to investigate the incident. The committee includes Assistant CMOs Dr. Jaisalal and Dr. R.P. Singh, as well as forensic expert Dr. Rishabh Kumar Singh. The incident raised serious concerns about the security and management of the facility. The police are continuing the investigation to determine if any other videos were filmed in the morgue. This incident once again highlighted the importance of security and ethical standards in healthcare institutions.
