During the fight, which involved punches and sticks, one person was injured, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area to bring the situation under control with difficulty.

The incident occurred at the Çamlık Junction in the Atatürk Neighborhood of Gölmarmara, Manisa. According to the information obtained, a disagreement arose between coffee shop operator Ercan Ç. and the headman of Ozanca Neighborhood, Menderes A., due to disturbances caused in the coffee shop. As the argument turned into a fight, the parties attacked each other, and Ercan Ç. was injured. The injured person was taken to Akhisar State Hospital for treatment.

80 PEOPLE GATHERED IN AN INSTANT

After the incident, a fight broke out among a crowd of approximately 80 people gathered by the parties from their surroundings. While the parties threw stones and sticks at each other from a distance, it was learned that headman Menderes A. and one of the parties, Coşkun A., fired shots into the air with a gun.

RIOT POLICE INTERVENED

As the incident grew, gendarmerie teams intervened, and reinforcement riot police teams arrived at the scene to manage the situation.

After the intervention of the gendarmerie teams, the incident, which had extensive security measures in place, was brought under control, and the fight completely ended.

It was learned that arrest operations were being carried out against the individuals involved in the incident, and necessary judicial investigations were initiated upon the instruction of the public prosecutor.
