A customer dining at a restaurant in Beyoğlu was bitten on the lip by an insect found in their meal. Following the complaint, an investigation was launched against the establishment on charges of "causing injury by negligence" and "lack of hygiene."
A customer who went to a barbecue restaurant in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul on the evening of March 4 noticed a bug in their plate while eating the meal they ordered.
BUG FOUND IN FOOD BIT THE CUSTOMER'S LIP
According to the claim, the customer noticed a bite-like injury on their lip at that moment. After the incident, the customer went to the hospital and filed a complaint with the police along with the doctor's report they received.
INVESTIGATION INTO THE ESTABLISHMENT
According to EnSonHaber's report; an investigation was initiated against the establishment on the grounds of "causing injury by negligence" and violation of hygiene rules upon the complaint. Police teams began examining the security cameras at the workplace where the incident occurred. Additionally, the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry teams were informed to conduct a hygiene inspection.
