In the city of Erbil in the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government, a drone crashed into a civilian home, resulting in the death of 2 people. While the attack is reported to have been directed from Iran, the incident is being considered a violation of international law.
As a result of a drone strike on a civilian house in Erbil, the capital of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region (IKBY), 2 people lost their lives. A bomb-laden drone fell on a house in the village of Zergezevi in the Dareşekran district of Erbil late at night. In a statement made by the IKBY Counter-Terrorism Unit, it was reported that the drone was directed from Iran, and that Musa Enver Resul and his wife Müjde Esad Hasan, who were in the house at the time of the attack, lost their lives.

It was stated that the attack is a "violation of international law" and a "war crime." It was learned that Erbil was subjected to numerous drone attacks at night, and that the air defense systems neutralized the majority of the drones.
