US President Donald Trump, who has put the whole world on edge with the threat that "Iranian civilization will be destroyed tonight," has made a new statement. Trump said, "If there is progress in negotiations today and a concrete result emerges, this situation could change."

U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed preparations for intense airstrikes against the country after 03:00 Turkey time if no agreement is reached with Iran, stating, "If there is progress in negotiations today and a concrete result emerges, this situation may change."

TRUMP'S THREAT "WE WILL DESTROY IRAN"

U.S. President Donald Trump, who gave Iran a deadline regarding the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and announced on April 5, "By 20:00 Eastern Time on Tuesday (03:00 Wednesday, April 8 Turkey time)," alarmed the Middle East with his latest statement. Just hours before the deadline, he said, "Tonight a great civilization will be destroyed and will never be brought back. I don't want this to happen, but it probably will."

Trump made a statement to the U.S.-based news channel Fox News regarding the expected nighttime attack on Iran. In a phone conversation with Fox News host Bret Baier, Trump reaffirmed preparations for the expected intense attacks on Iran after 20:00 Eastern Time (03:00 Turkey time) if no agreement is reached between the parties.

"I WON'T BET, THE 20:00 EVENT WILL HAPPEN"

In his statement about the Baier interview, he mentioned that he asked Trump about his expectations for the crisis to end through an agreement and negotiation, and that the U.S. President responded, "I won't bet, but the 20:00 event will happen."

"THE SITUATION MAY CHANGE IF THERE IS PROGRESS IN NEGOTIATIONS"

U.S. President Donald Trump emphasized that if no agreement is reached between the parties, severe attacks on Iran will be carried out, stating, "If we get to that point, they will face an attack like they have never seen before. If there is progress in negotiations today and a concrete result emerges, this situation may change. We are making progress according to our plans," he said.

U.S. VICE PRESIDENT VANCE: THE BALL IS IN THE IRANIANS' COURT

U.S. Vice President James David Vance also touched on Iran topics during a joint press conference with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban during his official visit to Hungary. Vance stated that regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Iran is trying to create as much economic pain as possible because it has been militarily defeated. The U.S. Vice President said, "If the Iranians want to inflict some pain, the U.S. has the capacity to inflict much, much more pain on them. But the President does not want to do that. I don't want to either. That's why we are negotiating aggressively. But ultimately, the ball is in the Iranians' court. Iran has never been a party that is very quick in negotiations, and they still are not. We are confident that Iran will respond positively or negatively before 20:00 (Eastern Time)."

Vance said, "I hope they give the right answer because we really want a world where oil and gas flow freely. A world where people can afford to heat and cool their homes. A world where people can afford to commute to work. This will not happen if Iran engages in economic terrorism."
