President Erdoğan, who attended the opening of the ROKETSAN Production Facilities, the serial production deliveries, and the groundbreaking ceremony, signed the Tayfun Block-4 missile. ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci stated that with the investments inaugurated, they would elevate the serial production, testing, and R&D infrastructure to much higher levels, saying, "We will increase the production capacities of our missiles such as SİPER, HİSAR, and TAYFUN in the missile integration area at our campus by five times."
President Erdoğan attended the "ROKETSAN Production Facilities Opening, Serial Production Deliveries, and Groundbreaking Ceremony" held in Lalahan. President Erdoğan signed the Tayfun Block-4 missile.
"WE ARE LEAVING ANOTHER IMPORTANT THRESHOLD BEHIND" Sending his greetings to each member of the ROKETSAN family, which adds a new success every day with the projects, products, and systems developed by the Turkish Armed Forces that write epics on land, at sea, and in the air, and to over 4,500 companies operating in the defense industry, Erdoğan said, "Today, we are leaving another important threshold behind on the road to a fully independent Turkey in defense. Soon, we will hopefully inaugurate our Kırıkkale Fuel Production Facilities, our Lalahan Warhead Facility, and our Advanced Technologies R&D and Engineering Center. Additionally, we will deliver many weapon groups such as TAYFUN, SİPER, ATMACA, HİSAR-A, HİSAR-O, and SUNGUR systems, as well as the sharp claws of our UAVs, MAM-T and MAM-L, to our heroic army. We will also lay the foundations of our Lalahan Missile Integration Facilities. With these investments, which will make our defense industry a stronger development axis and increase the rate of qualified employment, we will strengthen our Layered Air Defense System, enhance our strategic power, and significantly contribute to our smart ammunition family, our serial production speed, and our R&D capacity," he said.
EMPHASIS ON "DETERMINED ASCENT" Haluk Görgün, President of the Presidency of Defense Industries, stated that every investment they inaugurated, delivered, and laid the foundation for is a strong expression of Turkey's determined ascent in the defense industry.
INVESTMENT COST EXCEEDS 1 BILLION DOLLARS ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci expressed that they are striving to realize significant investments that will enhance the power of the defense industry as a pioneer of the National Technology Initiative. İkinci stated, "The total investment cost of the facilities we will inaugurate is over 1 billion dollars. Today, hopefully, with the facilities where we will lay the foundation, we will have a size of 2 billion dollars." he evaluated.
İkinci also noted that they will continue to work tirelessly to experience the golden age of the defense industry under the leadership of President Erdoğan.
