A fugitive convict in Edirne, who has a confirmed sentence of 41 years, 4 months, and 12 days for two crimes, attempted suicide with a gun when he saw the police coming to arrest him at his doorstep. The convict, whose weapon was taken away and who was subdued, along with the person who was hiding him in his home, was taken into custody.

In Edirne, the teams of the Provincial Police Department's Public Order and Intelligence Branch identified the address where the fugitive A.O., who has a confirmed prison sentence of 40 years, 3 months, and 27 days for the crime of 'robbery at night' and 1 year and 15 days for 'theft', totaling 41 years, 4 months, and 12 days, was hiding.
