In the attacks carried out by Israel on Thursday in Yemen, the Houthis' Prime Minister Ahmed Galib al-Rehavi and many ministers were killed.

PRIME MINISTER AND MINISTERS KILLED IN ISRAEL'S ATTACK

The Houthis announced that in the attack carried out by Israel on Sana'a on August 28, Prime Minister Ahmed Galib al-Rehavi and several ministers accompanying him lost their lives.

In a statement made by the Houthi-affiliated Presidency, it was stated, "Prime Minister Ahmed Galib al-Rehavi, who heads the Change and Construction Government, was martyred last Thursday along with some ministers accompanying him."

SHOT DURING MEETING

The statement noted that Prime Minister Rehavi and some ministers killed in the Israeli attack were targeted during a routine meeting where evaluations of their annual work were being made. It was reported that some individuals at the meeting survived with moderate to severe injuries, and their treatments are ongoing.

The Houthis also emphasized that they will continue to support the children of Gaza and stand by them, and that they will continue their efforts to increase and develop the strength of the armed forces to counter all dangers.

STATEMENT FROM THE HOUTHIS' CHIEF OF STAFF

The Chief of Staff of the Houthis, Muhammad Abdulkarim al-Gamari, stated that Israel's attacks on Yemen's capital Sana'a "will not go unpunished." According to the Houthi-affiliated SABA news agency, Gamari said, "The targeting of civilian neighborhoods in Sana'a by the Zionist enemy (Israel) will not go unpunished," following claims that the Israeli army attempted to assassinate him.

"WE WILL NOT FALL BEHIND IN OUR SUPPORT FOR GAZA"

Gamari emphasized that Yemen "will not step back from its support for Gaza, regardless of the scale of the attacks or sacrifices," stating, "The violence escalated by the Zionists (Israel) against Gaza or Yemen is not a show of strength, but a sign of their failure to achieve their goals for nearly 2 years, which will be met with even greater escalation."

Gamari described the determination of the Gazan Palestinians as "historic" and saluted them, referring to the fighters of Palestinian groups as "heroes preparing to inflict heavy losses on the enemy (Israel) in their attacks on the city of Gaza."

According to Israeli army radio, the Israeli army announced yesterday that it attempted to assassinate Houthi Chief of Staff al-Gamari and Houthi-affiliated Yemen Government Defense Minister Muhammad al-Atifi in the attack on Yemen's capital Sana'a. The statement said, "We tried to eliminate the Houthi chief of staff and defense minister along with senior leaders of the Houthi government, and we are still waiting for the results of the attack."

The same statement noted that the attack was carried out thanks to accurate intelligence obtained regarding a meeting of senior Houthi leaders, and that approval was received from political leaders and Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir in a short time.
