TFF Vice President Mecnun Otyakmaz made statements regarding current issues following the draw for the Ziraat Turkey Cup. Otyakmaz stated that it is not possible to share VAR footage with the public, inviting club officials to the federation and saying, "We cannot share VAR footage externally. They are welcome to come and watch together. In the future, let one manager from each of the two teams come and sit in the technical section of the VAR room. Let them come and sit in the VAR room and watch together."

Stating that it is not possible to share VAR footage with the public, Otyakmaz invited all club managers in the Super League to the federation. In his statement, Otyakmaz said, "We cannot share VAR footage with the outside. Let them come and watch together. In the upcoming period, one manager from each of the two teams should come and sit in the technical section of the VAR room. Let them come and sit in the VAR room and watch together. Let them see what is happening. I have been a club president. Could such a thing be possible! Can we be negligent in a matter that concerns so many people? Please trust us. NEW FORMAT PROPOSAL FOR THE TURKEY CUP
Otyakmaz, who stated that there is a proposal for a change in the format of the Ziraat Turkey Cup, said, "I was also troubled by this when I was a club president. A single elimination match, let's go through one by one. To prevent the semi-finals from being a done deal, it should be two-stage. There should be no surprise events there. This is also the decision of the Clubs Union for the next season."
