A vehicle trying to pass through the flooded road around Gökçeler Stream in the Milas district of Muğla was swept away by the floodwaters and overturned. One of the people trapped in the vehicle was rescued alive by the teams' efforts, while the other person unfortunately lost their life despite all interventions.

TRIED TO CROSS THE FLOODED ROAD, GOT SWEPT AWAY
A car trying to cross the flooded road around Gökçeler Stream in Yaka Neighborhood was swept away by the flood and dragged into the stream. Upon notification, AFAD, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
1 DEAD, 1 INJURED
AFAD teams reached the car in the stream with the help of a crane and rescued Ayhan Demir. Demir, who was reported to have suffered from hypothermia, was treated by medical teams. It was determined that Bülent Şanlı, who was in the car, had lost his life.
The gendarmerie teams, which initiated an investigation, conducted examinations at the scene.
