THE MOMENTS ON CAMERA
Özdemir shared the footage of the incident on his social media account, stating, "They sent a large, armed ship. There is nothing we can do, we are fighting. We are fishing in this area. This is Zürafa Rocks, we are in the same places again. They do not give up, and we will not give up either. Our boat is made of metal, they know it is safer. They passed very close. They came yesterday too, but this time they passed with a large ship. Thankfully, we did not have any issues, but we called the Turkish Coast Guard boat. They are probably seeing us from above the water and fleeing. We are here, we do not know what else we will experience," he said.
