In the Cavit Beşkardeş Family Health Center located in the Arnavutköy district of Istanbul, there was an audio surveillance device found in the doctors' break room. While an investigation has been launched regarding the surprising incident, the police have seized the device.
While cleaning in the rest room of the doctors at the Cavit Beşkardeş Family Health Center located in Arnavutköy Mehmet Akif Ersoy Neighborhood, the cleaning staff C.A. noticed a black device with flashing lights. Upon reporting the situation, the doctor S.S. on duty at the health center filed a complaint with the police.
DOCTORS ARE ASTONISHED
Doctor S.S. stated in his statement that he wanted to find out the purpose of the device's use within the institution and who had placed it there. S.S. also suggested that another doctor working at the institution, Ö.Ö., might have installed the device. In his statement, S.S. claimed that he knew Ö.Ö. had previously watched the security cameras from his own device despite not having the authority to do so.
DEVICE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY BY POLICE
Police teams who arrived at the health center upon the notification took the mentioned black and lighted device into custody. In the initial examination, it was assessed that the device could be used for eavesdropping. It was learned that statements from the personnel on duty at the health center were taken as part of the incident, and that the police team's investigation and judicial process regarding the incident were ongoing.
