'THE SPIRIT OF STRUGGLING FAMILIES'
Hamilton stated that he was influenced by the spirit of the people working tirelessly to deliver aid to Gaza, saying, "The time I spent visiting a hospital and a aid packaging facility dedicated to helping the people in Gaza in Jordan changed my life. It is very easy to feel hopeless and think that we can do nothing to help when we see what is happening on the ground. I thought the feeling that would stay with me from my visit would be one of hopelessness, but it wasn't. The most resonant thing was the spirit of resilience and humanity. The spirit of families struggling to survive. The spirit of the British Red Cross and the Jordanian and Palestinian Red Crescent teams doing everything they can to deliver aid. We can all benefit from their spirit of resilience and determination to help those in need." he expressed.
'THE AMOUNT OF AID IS DEFINITELY NOT ENOUGH'
Emphasizing that it is possible to put an end to the suffering, Hamilton said, "The amount of aid currently reaching Gaza is definitely not enough. Humanitarian organizations should be allowed to reach the places where help is needed. They are in dire need of us using our voices and donations to help them do this. If you can, please donate to the British Red Cross or any of the incredible charities that continue to provide care, dignity, and hope to the people in Gaza, and please, do not stop talking about this. We must continue to give our voice and attention to this crisis. We must keep speaking out for what is right." he evaluated.
