Nef made another statement on social media regarding the allegations about the Chairman of the Board, Erden Timur, that have appeared in the press. In the statement, it was said, "We invite everyone to respect the judicial process and the presumption of innocence; we urge them to refrain from attempts to create perceptions based on unverified allegations." Meanwhile, the statement noted that the interrogation procedures of Erden Timur, who was detained as part of the "betting in football" investigation, have begun at the police station.
"The operations of the suspects detained as part of the "betting in football" investigation, including former Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Vice President Erden Timur, are ongoing at the police station. A new statement has been made by Nef, where Erden Timur is the Chairman of the Board.

NEF'S FIRST STATEMENT
Nef announced on Saturday that the allegations in the media regarding Chairman Erden Timur do not reflect the truth and expressed their full belief that Timur will be exonerated at the end of the ongoing legal process.
"It has become necessary to inform the public due to some misleading and untrue news in the media regarding our Chairman Mr. Erden Timur.
Mr. Erden Timur has conducted all his activities throughout his life with goodness and integrity within the applicable legislation and legal framework. All information and legal documents that will prove Mr. Timur's innocence are ready to be submitted to the relevant authorities without any omissions. We have full confidence that the ongoing legal process will be clarified as a result of evaluations to be made by the relevant authorities and that he will emerge from this process exonerated.
Our company continues its activities uninterruptedly with its professional Board of Directors and management team. We believe that after the legal process is completed in its normal course, it will result fairly in favor of Mr. Timur. We respectfully announce to the public."
INTERROGATION PROCESS AT THE POLICE HAS STARTED
The interrogation process of Erden Timur, the former Vice President of Galatasaray Sportif AŞ, has begun at the police station as part of the betting investigation in football.
