In a post on his own social media platform regarding the matter, Trump stated that he had a "good and extremely productive" phone call with Putin, and noted that he would meet with Zelensky later in the hours at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
In his post, Trump included the statements, "I had an extremely productive phone call with Russian President Putin before my meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky at 1:00 PM today. The meeting will take place in the main dining room of Mar-a-Lago. Press members are invited. Thank you for your interest in this matter."
