In the Pamukova district of Sakarya, a collision between a passenger bus and a truck on the D-650 highway resulted in a total of 12 people injured, including 2 seriously.

In the incident that occurred in the Gökgöz Neighborhood, a passenger bus with license plate 34 YK 4734, driven by A.T. and carrying 40 passengers, collided with a food-laden truck with license plate 16 AOB 34 while traveling from Istanbul to Denizli. Due to the impact, the bus was able to travel 500 meters before coming to a stop in front of a gas station. Upon notification of the situation, a large number of health, police, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area.

12 PEOPLE INJURED

In the accident, the driver A.T., the backup driver Ö.A., and the assistant H.G., along with passengers R.Y., S.B., R.M., M.G., S.A., Ş.E., C.U.E., V.K., and N.A., a total of 12 people were injured. The injured were transferred to various hospitals after the initial intervention at the scene.

2 PEOPLE IN SERIOUS CONDITION

It was learned that 2 of the 12 injured who were taken for treatment are in critical condition. The truck drivers who escaped the accident unharmed were taken to the police station for their statements. Due to the accident, traffic on the D-650 highway towards Bilecik was controlled for a while in a single lane, and an investigation was initiated regarding the incident.
