A dispute between a motorcycle rider and a car driver over yielding the right of way escalated tensions in Ümraniye. During the argument, the car driver pulled out a gun from his waist and threatened the motorcycle rider. The individual, who suddenly reached for his weapon, was quickly apprehended and taken into custody as a result of the efforts of the police teams. The licensed firearm belonging to the suspect was also secured.
The argument that arose over yielding the right of way in Ümraniye, Istanbul escalated when a gun was drawn. The moments when the car driver threatened the motorcycle driver with the gun he pulled from his waist were captured by a mobile phone camera.

The incident occurred around 5:00 PM on Gelibolu Street in Ümraniye. According to reports, an argument broke out between the car driver and the motorcycle driver over yielding the right of way. The two drivers, who stopped their vehicles, continued the verbal argument in the middle of the road.

At that moment, another motorcycle driver arrived at the scene to separate the parties. As the argument intensified, the car driver pulled out his gun from his waist and threatened the two motorcycle drivers.

CAUGHT IN A SHORT TIME
As a result of the efforts of the police teams, Ö.A. (48), who was identified as the perpetrator of the incident, was caught and taken into custody shortly thereafter. The licensed gun belonging to the suspect was placed under protection.
It was reported that Ö.A., who was taken into custody, would be referred to the judicial authorities on February 22 for the crime of "threat" after the completion of his procedures at the police station.
