STRIKING WORDS FROM YAŞAR İPEK
After Erol Köse's death, a striking claim came to light. Singer Yaşar İpek stated that he learned that Köse had transferred all the rights to his works to his daughter a week ago.
"HE HAD TRANSFERRED ALL THE RIGHTS TO HIS WORKS TO HIS DAUGHTER A WEEK AGO"
İpek used the following expressions: "I am in shock, I wish it were a nightmare. Erol brother is someone I have known since I was 6 years old. He was someone from our home, we have been living in the same site for about a few years. We talked before, he said 'I am doing new things, hopefully, I will work on it one day.' Erol brother is not someone who would throw himself away from his troubles and difficulties. He is not someone who would allow anyone to do that. He was living alone, I really don’t know what to say, I am in shock. As far as I know, his daughter is studying abroad. According to what I learned from a friend just a moment ago, he transferred all the rights to his works from MSG (Musical Works Owners Group) to his daughter a week ago. He did such a thing out of the blue a week ago. He transferred all the rights and earnings from his company and works to his daughter."
