In the corruption case against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, a suspect who followed the trial with a fake press card was detained by the gendarmerie.
The suspect, who was determined to have entered the hearing of the 'Corruption' case against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) with a fake press card, was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams.
ENTERED THE HEARING WITH A FAKE PRESS CARD AND TOOK FOOTAGE
The footage taken during the hearing of the corruption case against the IBB prompted the gendarmerie teams to take action. Investigations revealed that the footage was recorded by a person who entered the hearing with a fake press card. The individual in question was taken into custody by the teams.
TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
In a statement made by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the matter, it was stated, "An order for detention, search, and seizure has been issued against E.Y.T, who entered the hearings of case number 2025/318 E., which has begun trial at the Istanbul 40th Heavy Penal Court, in the courtroom number 1 of the Marmara Penal Institutions, following the hearings with a fake press card and sharing the footage he recorded on his social media account."
