It is claimed that a report may be prepared regarding İzzet Ulvi Yönter within the scope of the Ayhan Bora Kaplan investigation, while it was stated that the MHP would not obstruct the judicial process and that a "purification" process within the party has come to the forefront.
The claim has emerged that a report could be prepared regarding İzzet Ulvi Yönter, who resigned from his position in the MHP, within the scope of the Ayhan Bora Kaplan investigation. Journalist İsmail Saymaz made striking evaluations regarding the process.
THE INVESTIGATION DEEPENED THE POLITICAL CRISIS
Saymaz stated that the phone examinations conducted within the scope of the Ayhan Bora Kaplan investigation have led to not only a political crisis but also a judicial crisis within the MHP. He mentioned that there are rumors about a report being prepared against Yönter and said that the prosecution could proceed in this direction.
"BAHÇELİ WILL NOT HINDER THE JUDICIARY"
Speaking about the possible stance of MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, Saymaz said, “As far as I understand, Mr. Bahçeli will not stand in the way of the judicial process.” Saymaz noted that the MHP's attitude could be shaped in a way that does not hinder the judicial process.
"LET THE JUDICIARY REACH WHEREVER IT NEEDS TO"
Saymaz expressed that if the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office deepens the investigation, Bahçeli could act with the understanding that “let the judiciary reach wherever it needs to.” He based this evaluation on messages coming from party circles.
MHP'S "CLEANING" MESSAGE
Saymaz also drew attention to the article by Yıldıray Çiçek, advisor to MHP Chairman Bahçeli and a writer for Türkgün. He stated that Çiçek's emphasis on "cleaning" and "calming" in his article indicated a cleaning process within the party. It was noted that the expressions in Çiçek's article, “whoever is involved in corruption, bribery, smuggling, immorality, abuse of titles for power gain, or relationships with interest-driven gangs,” showed that the party tends to distance itself from names associated with such allegations rather than protect them.
