After a pest control operation in an apartment in the Meram district of Konya, 11 people were hospitalized due to suspected poisoning.
11 people living in other apartments were poisoned due to pest control carried out on the 1st floor of an apartment in Konya. The apartment was evacuated.
NEW PESTICIDE
The incident occurred late at night in Block B1, 29th of the TOKİ Housing Project in Gödene Neighborhood. After the pest control conducted on the 1st floor of the apartment, some residents reported feeling unwell due to the smell of the pesticide, leading to a suspicion of poisoning.
6 OF THE POISONED ARE FROM THE SAME FAMILY
In response, health and police teams were dispatched to the address. 11 people, 6 of whom are from the same family, were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident, and the health conditions of those taken to the hospital are reported to be good.
