A new development has occurred regarding the 34-year-old French player N'Golo Kante, whose transfer to Fenerbahçe has turned into a tangled mess.

After the termination of Kante's contract, Fenerbahçe management, which has taken action, is preparing to announce Kante's transfer tonight. Ertan Torunoğulları, who is in Saudi Arabia for the transfer, will return to Istanbul with Kante.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Fenerbahçe Club announced that the transfer of N'Golo Kante, which has been on the agenda for a while, did not take place due to the player's club's inability to complete the paperwork.
Fenerbahçe's statement regarding the French star is as follows:
"The transfer process involving N'Golo Kanté and Youssef En-Nesyri with Al Ittihad Club has been carried out meticulously by our club as planned and in all aspects.
In line with the request of our technical team, agreements have been reached with the players during this process; the health checks of the player to be transferred have been completed, necessary approvals have been obtained, and our club has fulfilled all its obligations in a timely and complete manner. The documents related to the transfer registration have been uploaded to the system correctly and completely within the specified time.
However, due to the incorrect entry of the relevant TMS information by the opposing club, the transactions could not be completed independently of our club within the transfer registration period. In this regard, an extension was requested, necessary discussions were held by our club with FIFA, and all steps were taken to resolve the process. Nevertheless, during the ongoing process, the opposing club did not complete the transactions without providing any justification to us.
As a result of these developments, unfortunately, the transfer process could not be concluded.
