Mansure Hujasteh Iranian official sources reported that Khamenei's son, Mojtaba Khamenei, who is seen as his successor, and his 14-month-old granddaughter, Zahra Mohammadi Golpayegani, also lost their lives.

Ali Khamenei and Bakirzadeh got married in 1965. Their marriage was officiated by Ayatollah Mohammad Hadi Milani.
Khamenei and Mansure Hujasteh Bakirzadeh have four sons named Mustafa, Mojtaba, Masoud, and Meysam; and two daughters named Bushra and Huda.
