Speaking to Record, the 71-year-old coach referred to the Beşiktaş derby and described the turning point in the championship race. Jesus stated, "Despite all the setbacks, we were two points behind the leader with 12 weeks left in the league. We finished the first half ahead, the opponent was reduced to 10 men, but Valencia missed a clear opportunity. After that moment, the team fell apart."
"ALI KOÇ WAS YELLING AT THE PLAYERS"
Referring to the events that took place after the match, Jesus conveyed the tension in the locker room with the following words: "After the match, I went down to the locker room and saw the president yelling at the players.
