In the Alihan Kuris criminal organization investigation conducted in Ankara, 58 thousand euros were seized from 3 people, including Hilmi Tuna Kuris, who was caught in a vehicle allocated in the name of former Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin. The vehicle was banned from traffic for 1 month due to the presence of unauthorized light warning systems.
A hot development has occurred in the Alihan Kuris Criminal Organization investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. In a joint operation carried out by the Intelligence and Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch Directorates of the Muğla Provincial Police Department, Hilmi Tuna Kuris, who was wanted as a fugitive, was caught at the Marmaris Junction in the Menteşe district.
58 THOUSAND EUROS FOUND IN VIP VEHICLE
It was determined that the vehicle with license plate 34, a 2024 model Volvo S90 in which the suspects were traveling, was registered under the name of San Sistem Lojistik. Detailed inquiries revealed that the vehicle had an official allocation as a vehicle with right-of-way privileges until 2030 in the name of former Minister of Interior Idris Naim Sahin. During the searches conducted in the vehicle, 58 thousand euros in cash were seized.
BANNED FROM TRAFFIC
In the examinations carried out by police teams on the vehicle, it was determined that the flashing and audible warning systems (strobe lights) had been installed illegally on the inside of the front and rear windows. Within the scope of the penal actions applied by the traffic teams, the vehicle was banned from traffic for a period of 1 month. Within the scope of the investigation, judicial proceedings are being deepened and continued.
