Another departure is about to take place at Galatasaray as part of the new season squad planning. An agreement has been reached for the loan of the yellow-reds' 23-year-old defender Metehan Baltacı to Gençlerbirliği.

According to the information reported by Ertan Süzgün, Gençlerbirliği has reached an agreement with Galatasaray for the transfer of Metehan Baltacı.

The young center-back is expected to play for the Ankara representative on loan until the end of the 2026-2027 season. It was stated that the transfer will be officially announced shortly.

It is aimed for Metehan Baltacı, who grew up in the Galatasaray academy, to continue his development by getting regular playing time at Gençlerbirliği. The 23-year-old defender previously played on loan at İskenderunspor, Manisa FK, and Eyüpspor.
