The United Arab Emirates (UAE) strongly condemned Iran's attacks, which have targeted the country with over 2,000 missile and drone strikes for 18 days. UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed stated that the Iranian attacks violate the sovereignty of the UAE and emphasized that the country will not compromise its efforts to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability against these attacks.
The UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed expressed his condolences for those who lost their lives in the attacks from Iran in a written statement.
Bin Zayed reported that Iran has used more than 2,000 ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones, in its attacks on the UAE for the past 18 days, stating that airports, residential areas, and civilian infrastructure have been targeted in these attacks.
"THREATENING REGIONAL SECURITY"
Bin Zayed pointed out that the Iranian attacks not only violate UAE sovereignty but also threaten regional security and stability, stating, "As the UAE, we condemn these attacks that continue to target our country and vital facilities in the strongest terms."
"WE WILL NOT COMPROMISE ON PROTECTING OUR SOVEREIGNTY"
Emphasizing that the UAE is ready to face any threats, Bin Zayed stated that they will not compromise on their efforts to protect the country's sovereignty, security, and stability against these attacks.
US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between Tehran and Washington. In response, Iran attacked targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the UAE, and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed. According to Iranian officials, the death toll from the US-Israel attacks has exceeded 1,348, with the number of injured surpassing 17,000.
