The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has prepared an indictment against Acun Ilıcalı for allegedly making "advertisements for an unlicensed and illegal betting site" on TV 8 and the Exxen platform, and against Saadettin Saran for similar allegations on the S Sport internet platform. It has been requested that Ilıcalı and Saran be sentenced to imprisonment of 1 to 3 years and a judicial fine of up to 3,000 days.

The indictment claims that Ilıcalı and some suspects made advertisements for unlicensed and illegal gambling sites using virtual advertising techniques during football matches broadcast on TV 8 and the EXXEN platform, and it requests that they be punished with imprisonment of 1 to 3 years and a judicial fine of up to 3,000 days for the crime of "encouraging individuals to place advertisements and otherwise promote fixed odds or pool betting or games of chance based on sports competitions." The indictment was sent to the criminal court for evaluation.
