The Capital Markets Board announced that the measures to ban short selling transactions on Borsa Istanbul will remain in effect until April 24. Additionally, the relaxation of the equity ratio related to margin trading will also continue until the same date.

SHORT SELLING BAN EXTENDED ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE

The Capital Markets Board (CMB) has decided to continue the measures and practices regarding the prohibition of short selling transactions in the Borsa Istanbul AŞ equity markets until the end of the session on April 24.

The CMB published an announcement containing details on the matter.

Accordingly, it was reported that, in addition to the ban on short selling transactions, measures to apply the flexibility of the equity ratio during margin trading in the capital markets will continue until the same date.
