The Housing Development Administration warned citizens about fake application and money request attempts for the "Century's Housing Project."
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change's Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) warned citizens to be cautious against fake application and money request attempts as the application process for the "Century's Housing Project" approaches.
APPLICATIONS WILL START ON NOVEMBER 10
TOKİ reminded that applications for the "500 Thousand Social Housing Project" will begin on November 10, 2025, through a statement made on its social media accounts. The institution emphasized that applications will only be accepted through official channels.
According to the statement, applications can be made through the authorized branches of T.C. Ziraat Bankası, Türkiye Halk Bankası, and Türkiye Emlak Katılım Bankası, or via e-Government. Citizens will be able to submit their applications between November 10 and December 19. The application fee will be 5 thousand lira.
"DO NOT MAKE PAYMENTS TO ANYONE OTHER THAN OFFICIAL BANKS"
TOKİ's warning included recent fraud attempts seen on social media platforms and fake websites. The statement included, "Do not trust social media links, fake websites, and messages. Do not make payments to individuals or accounts other than official banks."
The institution also noted that there are no applications for money requests, pre-registration, or privileged application rights on any platform other than its official social media accounts and website.
