RESPONSE FROM GOVERNOR GÜL
Istanbul Governor Davut Gül responded to the question, "Are schools closed on Monday?" Governor Gül stated that the decision would be made based on the weather conditions.
Governor Gül's statements are as follows:
"The decision about the holiday is not entirely up to my will or a very arbitrary situation. If the weather is bad, it will happen, but if the weather is good, there is no need for a holiday. Hopefully, starting from Monday, we will enjoy school again."
