With the October inflation, the rate of increases has started to become clear. A raise of 13% is expected for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees, while civil servants and civil servant retirees are expected to receive an increase of approximately 19% along with the inflation difference. The exact rate will be determined by the year-end inflation.
With the announcement of the inflation figures for October, the rate of salary increases for civil servants and retirees in the first month of 2026 has started to take shape.
INFLATION WAS 10.25%
According to TÜİK data, the inflation rate for the July-October period was realized at 10.25%. With this rate, the increase rate for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees has started to become clear. While 4 months of the 6-month data are known, it is expected that an increase of between 12.94% and 13.13% will be made for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees according to year-end forecasts.
NEW RETIREMENT SALARIES WITH A 10.25% INCREASE ARE AS FOLLOWS:
EXPECTATION OF A 19% INCREASE FOR CIVIL SERVANTS
Civil servants and civil servant retirees will receive an inflation difference in addition to the 11% increase right arising from the collective agreement. According to the first four months of data, the civil servant increase will be at least 16.55%. If the year-end inflation forecasts are realized, the increase rate for civil servants will be between 19.39% and 19.59%. Additionally, a gross increase of 1000 TL will be made to the base salaries. This amount will reflect on the salaries of civil servants at different rates. The net rates of additional increases and inflation differences will be finalized after the announcement of the inflation data for November and December.
