BAYKAR, ONCE AGAIN AMONG THE TOP 10 EXPORTERS
For the last 4 years, Baykar has been the leader in defense and aviation sector exports, and in 2024, it succeeded in being one of the top 10 companies in Turkey with the highest goods exports. Baykar, which became the first defense and aviation company to enter the list last year, marking a first in Turkey's export history, has maintained its position at the top this year as well. With this achievement, Baykar became the first company in Turkey's export history to carry the defense and aviation sector into the top 10 for two consecutive years.
According to the list announced at the "Export Champions Award Ceremony" held at the Istanbul Haliç Congress Center by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Baykar was one of the top 10 companies with the highest goods exports in Turkey. The award presented by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the ceremony was received by Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Baykar.
1.8 BILLION DOLLARS IN EXPORTS IN 2024
Since its inception, Baykar has carried out all its projects with its own resources, and since the beginning of the UAV R&D process in 2003, it has obtained 83% of its total revenue from exports. According to TİM data, Baykar has been the export leader in the defense and aviation sector in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and maintained this title in 2024 as well.
By continuing its strong performance in 2023, Baykar achieved 1.8 billion dollars in exports in 2024.
In recent years, Baykar has obtained more than 90% of its revenue from exports, and in 2024, it single-handedly accounted for a quarter of the defense and aviation sector's exports, elevating Turkey to a leading position in the global UAV export market.
Maintaining its global success, Baykar, the world's largest unmanned aerial vehicle company, has signed export agreements with 35 countries for the Bayraktar TB2 UAV and with 15 countries for the Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA so far.
