ANOTHER EXPLOSION OCCURRED WHILE INTERVENING IN THE BOMB DEVICE
According to Syria's official news agency SANA, a statement from the Media and Communications Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reported that a device ready to explode was detected near one of the Ministry of Defense buildings in the Bab Sharki area of Damascus.
The statement indicated that the device was immediately intervened with and attempts were made to neutralize it, but a bomb-laden vehicle detonated in the same area.
1 SOLDIER KILLED, SEVERAL SOLDIERS WOUNDED
It was stated that 1 soldier lost his life in the explosion, and several soldiers were injured to varying degrees. It was reported that many vehicles in the vicinity were damaged by the impact of the explosion.
