Due to the floodwaters, all metro stations between Acemler and Ataevler were closed to passenger entry. The flow of Nilufer River also increased due to the rain. A vehicle parked near the river was submerged in water. In some roads, vehicles in motion were swept away by the floodwaters.

Heavy rain and hail in Bursa negatively affected life. Due to the heavy rain that started in the afternoon, puddles formed on the streets and roads.

Due to the unexpected rainfall, drivers had difficulty moving on the roads with accumulated water. Occasionally, the hail intensified the effect, and the Odunluk Metro Station was flooded due to the heavy rain.

METRO STATIONS CLOSED

All metro stations between Acemler and Ataevler were closed to passenger entry, and parallel bus services were started along the metro line towards Bursa Uludağ University. Passengers who were caught in the rain inside the train watched the events outside with concern. With the warning from the authorities, the passengers on the train were evacuated.

In a statement made by BURULAŞ, it was stated that "Due to the bad weather conditions, the stations between Acemler and Ataevler have been temporarily closed to passenger entry. Parallel bus services have started along our metro line for our passengers going towards the university. We kindly request our passengers to use the bus transfer at Acemler Metro Station for transportation. Thank you for your understanding."
