According to a statement from local authorities, a bus carrying approximately 70 passengers from Tandur in the Vikarabad region collided with a gravel-laden truck coming from the opposite direction. Initial reports indicate that 20 people, including the bus driver, lost their lives, and more than 40 others were injured. Among the deceased were a 10-month-old baby, 10 women, and the drivers of both vehicles.

Images reported by the media showed some passengers buried under the gravel, calling for help. It was noted that police and rescue teams had difficulty extracting the injured. Those rescued were taken to the hospital.
