A single cone of pine nuts, which can reach 3,000 TL per kilogram in wholesale, is worth its weight in gold.
In Aydın, while the harvest season for pine nuts, which is an important source of income after figs, olives, cotton, and chestnuts, continues, the export journey of the harvested pine cones collected under difficult conditions has also begun.

In recent years, the pine nuts, which have started to be frequently planted and cultivated in the mountainous areas of Aydın, are bringing smiles to both farmers and workers. The price of pine nuts reaches 3,000 TL per kilo in bulk, and even a single cone is valued like gold.
