In a statement at the AK Party Group Meeting, President Erdoğan said regarding the conflicts in the Middle East, "Retaliations targeting energy, transportation, and infrastructure are triggering regional internal conflicts. The primary responsible for this war, which places an economic burden on all of humanity, is Israel. Our hope is for peace to prevail without further bloodshed."
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important statements regarding the agenda at the AK Party Group Meeting.
As the war between the US-Israel and Iran enters its 33rd day, Erdoğan warned about the "risk of regional conflict" using the following expressions:
"The danger level of the war that started on February 28 in our region continues to increase. Our priority is for our country to navigate this danger without any accidents. We are managing this process on a balanced and rational ground. Our Minister of Interior expressed our concerns at the organized quadrilateral meeting. Our relevant ministers are carrying out the intense process. Turkey's stance is clear; it is our duty to evaluate any hope for stopping the flowing blood, silencing the weapons, and resolving issues through diplomacy. Turkey's principled stance has become the voice of humanity. We wish for the pain experienced by brotherly and friendly countries to come to an end as soon as possible.
"WE WILL STRUGGLE FOR PEACE TO PREVAIL"
Retaliations against energy, transportation, and infrastructure are triggering regional internal conflicts. Israel is the primary responsible party for this war, which places an economic burden on all humanity. Every development that leads to the continuation of the war will serve Israel's bloody strategy. It is quite clear that the war with Iran does not serve the global peace vision; on the contrary, it jeopardizes this vision. The way to escape this trap that humanity is caught in is through dialogue and diplomacy. Reason and conscience require this. Our hope is for peace to prevail, where common sense reigns, without more bloodshed. We will fight for this."
The highlights from President Erdoğan's speech are as follows:

"WE ARE CONCERNED WITH STOPPING THE FLOWING BLOOD"
We have protected ourselves against aggressive systems that target us and our party, often exceeding the limits of political courtesy. Sometimes we attributed these to the inexperience of the party leader. Sometimes we acted with the hope that they would find the right path. We did not respond to their provocations. While we were surrounded by a ring of fire, with missiles flying beyond our borders, we stayed away from any political discussions that would distract us. Let everyone know this; our stance is not to tolerate the indecencies committed but rather to uphold our dignity. We have been striving to build on the foundations for 23 years. We are in the struggle to make Turkey a global player. We are concerned with stopping the flowing blood and extending a helping hand to the oppressed and victims in their difficult times.
We are progressing towards our goal of the Century of Turkey without getting caught up in the virtual agendas stirred up by the opposition.
"TURKEY HAS NOW MET 5G TECHNOLOGY"
A new era began yesterday in the field of communication and telecommunications. Turkey has now met 5G technology. We experienced the joy of bringing 5G technology, which will increase our country's competitiveness and enhance efficiency in communication and technology, to our country. The 5G technology, which is 10 times faster than 4.5G technology, will gradually spread in Turkey. We will deliver this technology to every corner of our country. We will reach every point of our country within 2 years.
As the AK Party and the People's Alliance, we have great responsibilities. We have a duty to protect our country from the fire in the region. We have a heavy responsibility to ensure the peace of our nation and to enable them to look to the future with confidence. We will not allow anyone to come between us and our goals.
"WE WILL NOT ALLOW THE LANGUAGE OF FIGHTING TO POISON POLITICS"
We must all be aware that the Turkish nation is a nation of wisdom. You cannot deceive this nation; you cannot perform political tricks on this nation. This noble nation knows very well how to distinguish the right from the wrong, the sincere from the fraud, and the moral from the immoral. Our nation knows very well the quality difference between the AK Party and the People's Alliance and the main opposition CHP. My citizens see very well the aggressive rhetoric of the opposition that does not even take a break during Ramadan and gives them the deserved score. They turn every opportunity they get into a symphony of insults against us and our party, humiliating not us, but only themselves. We have never been a tool in this game. We will not allow the politics of anger, hatred, and the language of fighting to poison politics.
It is neither the right nor the limit of anyone, including the main opposition, to insult the President of this country and the ruling party with ugly expressions. The CHP has written the book of coup and junta in this country.
"THE COUP MENTALITY OF CHP DOES NOT CHANGE"
Open and look at Turkish political history, you will see the CHP walking hand in hand with the coup plotters. You will see the CHP as the main actor of May 27. The ideology of the CHP is the source of inspiration for the coup plotters of September 12. The CHP has been involved in all provocations targeting Turkey since November 3, 2002. The CHP was present before the April 27 declaration. It was the CHP that patted the backs of those in the streets during the Gezi events. It was again the CHP that tried to whitewash the coup plotters by calling the July 15 betrayal a controlled coup. Coup-making is the character and identity of the CHP. Supporting coups is the national sport of the CHP. The CHP is the embodiment of coup-making in this country. Just as a tin cannot be turned into gold by painting it yellow, the coup mentality of the CHP cannot change.
"YOU HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH THE CHARACTER MISERABLES WHO TURNED MUNICIPALITIES INTO A FEEBLE"
There is no political rival before us that is suitable for either our quality or our weight. There is a character in the chair of the main opposition party who is foul-mouthed and insults everyone in front of him. I know that our CHP citizens are also disturbed by these statements. Until today, you have blamed everyone from the passing citizen to the flying bird, declaring them guilty. But you have never said, 'Is the thief not at fault at all?' You have never dealt with those who take bribes and the character misers who turned municipalities into a feeble. No one will say to you, 'Eat up, gentlemen, eat up,' nor can they, nor will they. No one in Turkey has the privilege of being corrupt. The days when those who steal and plunder got away with it are now behind us. We are not a party to this process; we are merely the followers of justice on behalf of the nation. We want the truth to come to light through fair and impartial trials, and for everyone to be held accountable before the law.
