The Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz made evaluations regarding the minimum wage. Yılmaz stated that the minimum wage does not directly affect the public sector; on the contrary, the increase raises the public's premiums. He also emphasized the importance of having a balanced structure for the minimum wage in order to protect the production capacity of small businesses and certain regions.
The budget marathon that started in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) continues with the budget discussions of the Presidency and its affiliated institutions. Speaking on behalf of the executive in the General Assembly, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz made evaluations regarding the minimum wage.

Reminding that negotiations are ongoing, Yılmaz stated, "We will all see the result together. This issue does not directly affect the public. On the contrary, as the minimum wage increases, the public's premiums rise. It is important for the minimum wage to be balanced in terms of protecting the production capacity of small businesses in certain regions. We will continue to increase the welfare of our employees in a sustainable way by enhancing productivity." he said.
