The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced that the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) System will be used in the group matches of the Ziraat Turkey Cup.

In a statement made on the official website of the Turkish Football Federation regarding the matter, it was stated, "With the decision taken at the TFF Board of Directors meeting dated 15.12.2025 and numbered 62, it has been decided to make changes to the Status of the 2025-2026 Season Turkey Cup Matches. With the changed status, the online Video Assistant Referee System will be used in accordance with the Laws of the Game and the VAR Protocol included in these rules starting from the group matches of the Ziraat Turkey Cup."
