China has conducted a new test flight of its 6th generation fighter jet, the J-36. It was reported that the aircraft, which completed its first test on December 26, 2024, is capable of reaching hypersonic speeds and possesses state-of-the-art stealth features. The images of China's 6th generation new fighter jet are constantly in the global spotlight. China conducted another test, having previously performed the first test on December 26, 2024, over Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, where the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group, believed to be the manufacturer of the jet, is located.

Experts claimed that this new fighter jet has technologically left behind the US's F-35 and Russia's Su-57 aircraft.
The aircraft is believed to be produced by the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group, one of China's manufacturers of fighter jets and unmanned aerial vehicles. It has been claimed that the aircraft enhances flight performance and maneuverability using artificial intelligence. Observers noted that the aircraft flew with its landing gear extended, a practice often seen in the early stages of test flights.
